About herrenlos

Core principles

Best executable rate

We quote route providers in parallel and rank by what you'll actually receive — not by who pays us. The route highlighted as best is the best executable one, every time.

Fund safety

Every flow is designed around one question: what happens when this fails? Deposit memos, claim funding, and irreversible actions are treated as safety-critical, not edge cases.

Resilience

Providers degrade — so each is isolated behind its own health checks and circuit breaker. One failing integration never takes down quoting or execution for the rest.

Non-custodial by design

Swaps are signed by your wallet or sent to a provider address; rewards are claimed directly from an on-chain contract. herrenlos never holds your assets or your keys.

How we build

We optimize for correctness over surface area. Failure modes are made explicit rather than hidden — the app tells you when a route can’t execute, when a status is genuinely unknown, and when something needs your attention, instead of guessing. And we stay deliberately lean: a small team, a tight surface, and changes shipped one careful step at a time, in the open on our roadmap.

Correctness
Right beats fast or flashy.
Explicit failure
We surface problems, never hide them.
Lean
Small team, tight surface, careful steps.

The Cybernetics Team

We started as everyday people investing in new technology who decided to come together to build something meaningful — and as you can tell, we’re a bit of a comic book fan.

Leadership

  • Portrait of The Architect, Founder & Chief Executive

    The Architect

    Founder & Chief Executive

Has spent more than two decades designing and operating complex infrastructure systems in high-stakes environments. Approaches every product decision with the same question: “What happens when this fails?” Holds final accountability for fund safety, claim funding, and the overall direction of herrenlos.

  • Portrait of The Nexus, Chief Technology Officer

    The Nexus

    Chief Technology Officer

Owns the technical backbone of the platform. Ensures that routing, execution flows, and failure handling remain reliable under real conditions rather than ideal ones, keeping the entire system coherent when individual providers degrade.

  • Portrait of The Arbiter, Legal & Compliance Counsel

    The Arbiter

    Legal & Compliance Counsel

Advises on the regulatory and legal realities of operating a non-custodial product with a live token and claim mechanism. Focuses on keeping the platform on solid ground rather than pursuing aggressive interpretations of the rules.

  • Portrait of Vaultkeeper, Finance & Treasury Lead

    Vaultkeeper

    Finance & Treasury Lead

Manages operational runway and the careful handling of assets tied to claims and protocol operations. Treats the movement of value with the same seriousness applied to the technical architecture.

Engineering

  • Portrait of Chainweaver, Lead Web3 Full-Stack Engineer

    Chainweaver

    Lead Web3 Full-Stack Engineer

Works deep in the details of quoting, route selection, wallet integrations, and multi-step transaction orchestration across chains. Focuses on making complex flows behave predictably for users.

  • Portrait of The Forgemaster, Smart Contract & Claims Engineer

    The Forgemaster

    Smart Contract & Claims Engineer

Responsible for the on-chain claim system. Focuses on distribution integrity, clean claim mechanics, and ensuring that funded pools remain under proper operational control.

  • Portrait of Uptime, Infrastructure & Site Reliability Engineer

    Uptime

    Infrastructure & Site Reliability Engineer

Keeps the production environment healthy, observable, and recoverable. Watches the quiet systems — monitoring, circuit breakers, and reconciler reliability — that determine whether the platform stays trustworthy.

  • Portrait of Zero Trust, Security Reviewer

    Zero Trust

    Security Reviewer

Acts as an independent check on high-risk decisions. Reviews ownership changes, secret handling, and operational procedures with a deliberately skeptical eye.

Operations & Support

  • Portrait of Mission Control, Operations & Admin Lead

    Mission Control

    Operations & Admin Lead

Handles the day-to-day work that keeps the platform running smoothly behind the scenes — feedback loops, milestone tracking, and operational follow-through.

  • Portrait of Frontline, Community & User Support

    Frontline

    Community & User Support

Helps users navigate swaps, wallet connections, deposit flows, and claims. Gives clear, honest answers even when the situation is complicated.

  • Portrait of The Herald, Growth & Communications

    The Herald

    Growth & Communications

Manages how herrenlos appears publicly. Focuses on accurate messaging that matches the actual technical and security standards of the product.

  • Portrait of The Shield, Security Operations Support

    The Shield

    Security Operations Support

Supports key management practices, incident readiness, and the operational side of keeping critical systems secure.

herrenlos is a beta product, built in the open. The most reliable way to reach us is through the official channels linked inside the app — treat any other “herrenlos” account or contact as unofficial until you’ve verified it there.
