Earning $HERREN: how rewards work during the herrenlos beta

How the beta rewards program works — points for real swap usage, a non-custodial on-chain claim for $HERREN, and honest limits. What the program is, and what it isn't.

rewardstokenproduct

herrenlos runs a rewards program for the people stress-testing it during closed beta. The idea is straightforward: real usage earns points, points map to a fixed-supply token called $HERREN, and when a distribution is ready you claim it yourself, on-chain. No custody, no promises about price — just an attempt to put the token in the hands of the people actually using the product.

What the program is for

Beta software gets better when real people push it through real flows. The rewards program exists to encourage exactly that — routing genuine swaps, across different chains and providers, and reporting what breaks — rather than to hand out tokens for signing up. You can follow it on the Rewards tab.

How you earn points

Points are scored on four signals, and the mix matters more than any single number:

  • Swap volume — points scale with the total USD value of successful swaps you route through herrenlos.
  • Consistent activity — steady swapping throughout the beta is worth more than one large burst; both the number of swaps and their size count.
  • Chain & provider diversity — testing across multiple chains and different route providers earns a diversity bonus, so heavy volume on only a few pairs is rewarded less.
  • Quality feedback — high-quality bug reports and product suggestions submitted through the designated Discord channel can earn additional points after review.

The Rewards page shows your points and a per-wallet breakdown (volume, swaps, chains, feedback, and your join date) once you connect a wallet.

Opt in, earn, then claim

The lifecycle is simple: opt in → earn → claim.

  1. Opt in and get approved. Joining has an eligibility gate — a minimum wallet age and some real activity — so the program rewards genuine testers rather than throwaway wallets spun up to farm it.
  2. Earn. Once you've joined an active milestone, your swap activity accrues points against it.
  3. Claim. When a distribution is prepared, your allocation becomes claimable.

The claim is non-custodial

$HERREN is a fixed-supply ERC-20 on Ethereum mainnet, and it's distributed through Merkle claims you submit from your own wallet — herrenlos never holds your tokens and never claims on your behalf. Claiming is gated behind an on-chain switch, and the contract is the source of truth for whether a claim is open and whether you've already claimed. You can read the full token design on the Token page.

Rewards are claimed directly from an on-chain contract. herrenlos never holds your assets or your keys — the same non-custodial rule that governs swaps governs rewards.

What rewards are not

To keep expectations honest:

  • They are not a yield product or an APR. There is no guaranteed return, staking rate, or emission schedule being promised here.
  • They are not a price claim. Nothing on the rewards or token pages says what $HERREN is or will be worth.
  • On-screen points and estimates are indicative until a distribution is actually prepared — they help you see where you stand, not a promise of a specific payout.
  • None of this is financial advice.

Honest limits

This is an early, closed-beta program. Eligibility rules and milestones can change as it matures; claims stay disabled until they're explicitly switched on; and we don't promise dates. If something is gated or "coming soon" on the Rewards page, that's the honest current state, not a placeholder hiding something finished.

If you want to take part, the best first step is to just use the product: open the swap page, route a few real swaps across a couple of chains, and check your standing on the Rewards tab.
